A qualified professional with almost 11 years of proven work experience at power plants (Steam turbine and Gas turbine (IC) units). As an Instrumentation Control Engineer leads plant automation projects, review instrument design for multi-discipline capital and expense projects, and provide technical support for instrumentation control system specifications, installation, documentations and Maintenance. I was member of ISA (International Society of Automation) in 2007-2008. I have also completed 35 PDUs for PMP (Project Management Professional) exam preparation certification from Sir-Syed University of Engineering Technology (April 2009) and am member of PMI (Project Management Institute) since 2011.

Present
Working as Project Engineer in IC section, Generation Technical Support Department (GTSD), Saudi Electricity Company Eastern Region, HQ Dammam, Saudi Arabia. I have been assigned to North East Operating Area (NEOA), Aljouf, Saudi Arabia. Presently involved in DCIS (Distributed Control Information System) for Gas Turbines control system replacement project, Fuel Unloading Flow meter replacement project, Gas Turbine Control Valve replacement project. Projects brief details are Replacement of NEOA power plants Gas Turbine Control System and up-gradation of auxiliaries systems, which majorly consist of commissioning of DCS (Ovation), Vibro-Meter Vibration monitoring system, ABB AVR/Auto-Synchrotact and Aljouf power plant Main Control Room revamp, Replacement of fuel unloading flow meters with state-of-the-art Coriolis Mass flow meters for five different power plants, Replacement of Gas turbine control valves for 7 units in Aljouf power plant. Additionally, working as project coordinator on all other projects related to IC-GTSD for NEOA, recently done Radar Tank Gauge (RTG) level monitoring system project at Aljouf PP and Arar PP as fuel tank management.

During Sept. 2002 to May 2009
Worked as Sr. Scientist in KANUPP (Karachi Nucelar Power Plant) Electrical Control Division (IC section). Responsible for smooth maintenance programs (corrective, preventive and predictive) in conventional and nuclear instrumentation. Reviewed and provide recommendations on process change approvals as and when submitted by plant Technical division. Also manage spare part inventory for smooth operations of maintenance activities. Planning of material and human resources in terms of daily and weekly work plans.
